Is it possible to put a bi-pod on a pistol, such as the Diana P5 Magnum?

Maybe a barrel mounted but it would be awkward to cock.  I take it you are shooting off a bench?  In that case, a very soft pad on a front rest might work.

The reason I ask is because of this bi-pod I saw at Cabela's:

The handgun part was the part that caught my attention. I was wondering if certain handguns had special ways to mount, or if any "handgun" (or in my case, air pistol) could be mounted.

There probably would not be enough room to mount a bi pod because of the cocking slot in the "forearm" of the pistol. Firearm pistols (especially longer ones with the wood forend) would not have the cocking slot in the forearm (like your spring piston Diana) so it would be much easier to mount said bipod.

bipods on recoiling springers , especially pistol probably not worth the time. never seen a springer aside from rws54 that shot well off a bipod.
