HW75 scope mount

As most of you know I received a new HW75 for Christmas from my wife. I also have an unused Leupold 2X20 EER handgun scope which I want to use from time to time with the HW75. I have a pair of Leapers Accushot 1" rings which fit the HW75's wide grooves nicely when the mounting foot is reversed for wide rails. I also have a set of 200 series BKL rings which require the base to be spread a great deal in order to fit the rings onto the HW75's rails.
Since I want to be able to use the pistol in the iron sights mode most of the time the BKLs are not a good choice from a quick change perspective. While the Leapers rings work perfectly they mount the scope 1 - 2 mm offset from the bore. Since I shoot between 10 and 25 yards I suspect that this horizontal offset will have little effect. I will probably only use the scope when shooting at 25 yards and will have adjusted the scope for that range. Oh yeah... when shooting iron sights I do not want anything extra mounted to the pistol to change its natural balance which eliminates any sort of see-through rings.
Three questions:
1. Am I correct in the assumption that the 1 - 2 mm horizontal offset will cause very little sighting trouble?
2. What other rings are available that will fit the HW75's wide rails better that will also allow a quick install or removal from the pistol?
3. While vertically split rings do not allow easily changing from irons to scope sighting are they really the best solution for the HW75?
Thanks - Mike

Not sure if these will help but that beauty deserves the best. Congrats!
Let us know how she shoots. Been looking myself.

As a followup to my question on problems caused by a slight offset one of my favorite scope guys on Rimfire Central (MGT) has confirmed that a 1 - 2 mm linear offset causes no problems at all.
It seems that the Leapers / UTG Accushot rings are probably the best choice for the HW75/P2 or HW45/P1 pistols.
As an aside I can report that with the Leupold 2X20 EER scope sighted in it is a one holer at 10 yards when shooting from a rest but when shooting offhand I am much more accurate with the open sights. I have found this to be true with all of my pistols that have both sighting systems. At my age (68) the visually increased wobble the scope provides must be more distracting to me. I do have shooting glasses that have the left lens focused at the hyper focal length (2 x distance to front sight) and the right eye completely blacked out. Really results in a good sight picture on my various pistols. The left lens also has appropriate astigmatism correction.
Hopefully this info will help others find the correct solutions for their P1, P2, P3 requirements.
