Dead Pest of the Day

When I was growing up my dad bought 4 lots in the Penn. Alleghany Mts. We cleared the lots and built a cabin. Copperhead was the most common snake there unless you were down near the river where the cotton mouths were. We spent weekends there while we were building and bathed in that river.

 Took out a Chipper today that somehow evaded the traps. It came out of a flower bed that had a freshly dug hole between new flowers. The Queen was  , so,,
 it did not evade the Drifter "projector". Cleanup is expected during the night shift.

 Speaking of Chippers, I discovered several frolicking around the loose spoil piles from my dredging of a drainage ditch. Too busy ATM to nip em in the bud, so this could get fun by fall LOL.

Someone ran over a possum by my place that I've been seeing on my trail cams. One less possum around to wake me up in the middle of the night with a spypoint alarm of wild boar. Wonderful AI they have recognizing critters.

 While Nick and I were getting a spray rig together, this chipmunk was spotted  hanging on a tree chipping away about 20 yards from the sprayer, after about 5 or so times of Nick mentioning what it was up to I looked at him, he asked do you have a air rifle handy. Why yes 3 in my truck, 20 yards the other direction, after a minute of decision making I grab the GK1 .22 as it was easiest to deploy. Walk back to the sprayer where I can get a line of sight took aim and pop went the weasel
