Tippman 48ci bottle, what adapter for Foster fitting?

Friend gave me this. Air rifle that doesn't want to fill. Was told to hook it up to a tank & give it higher pressure quickly as that will close whatever valves are open - and won't close with the normal electric air pump filling it.

What adapter do I need for the tank that has a Foster fitting for the air rifle?

Am woefully ignorant with these bottles - I'm sure it shows.

What I know is I can't get the rifle to fill with the compressor or my Hill pump. Willing to try this method & hope it works. Rifle was completely empty so I could put in a new O-ring & tape the threads on the fill port. That is where it was leaking - but now I can't get the fill started.

 First thing to try is cock the hammer before trying to fil. Not sure what you have so far as a tank setup. Bottles either have 5/8 18 or M18 1.5 thread.

 On my Tippman and Ninja bottles I have a regulator, one at 850 psi and the other at 1600... with this fill station.




If you want to "shock" it to seat the valves, why not hook your compressor up to the gun with the valves closed, start the compressor and let it "Dead Head" to the 3000psi then quickly open the valve?

Maybe I am missing something.

I have disabled the regulator on those to get full fills on 3000 psi guns.
