Does anyone got a hatsan 125 barrel they don't want or know where to get one?

I'm getting my hatsan 125 in .25 tuned. And the tuner called me and told me a inch after the breach that the middle of bore is so loose the pellet just falls down instead of gripping the rifling and then it gets tight again towards muzzle like a choke. He says it's effecting the velocity pretty bad. I don't know where to get a new barrel and hatsan will charge a 100$ for a replacement barrel and that's another 50/50 chance if it will be a good barrel. For some reason the gun is accurate. I sent it because it was accurate and figured a good tuning and rebuild would do wonders for the gun. I figured a good chunk of people got a hatsan 125 that failed on them and I would like to buy a barrel off someone who dosnt want there's anymore. Also surprisingly the gas ram was still good. The tuner rebuilt it for me anyway because he said they can go out at a moments notice. I had the gun for 4 years

Accuracy trumps everything. If your Hatsan shoots accurately, you are way ahead already, no need to sweat the velocity.

My H135 has a barrel that is completely loose most of the way, and inaccurate. I need a new barrel and they are hard to get, and a gamble. Like you, I'm trying to spot a cheap parts gun that had an accurate barrel. It's a long wait.

I think the problem is when most people hatsans fail they just throw them away. I can't find a single parts gun on ebay or anywhere. And from the reviews I know there's a lot of failures. Especially with the gas ram. My tuner rebuilt mine.

It may take some time, but they do appear on the hatsanairgunsusa refub page from time to time.
Search for barrels available from Europe, like Poland or Bulgaria.  I see some for 50-60 Euros, but have no idea what the shipping might be.  Slow postal mail might not be too bad, just slow.

Pre-covid Hatsan Mod125 refurbs were more common. I purchased a few different versions (177 & 22) for $110-$135. Even stumbled across a couple Amazon closeouts (new) for under $100. Sorry, but they are all keepers including the Vortex versions which have leaked (or WILL leak) since I finally have the parts to convert them to coil springers. Sorry, waited a LONG TIME for the coil spring parts to restock from Turkey and am not willing to "part with the parts" either.

I understand the "loose middle bore" is not a good thing but even a small choke at the muzzle should restabilize the pellet on exit so accuracy could still be very good. There are also slightly oversize pellets which might perform well in your barrel.

Even as-is parts Mod125s are likely to sell for more than $100. Add shipping and the possibility of getting a barrel that may be LESS ACCURATE than the one you have is a big gamble.

You would need to have it machined (lathe and mill) and then pressed & pinned into the old barrel block by someone who KNOWS wtftad. Final cost likely 2x the original rifles purchase price. Is a Hatsan really worth that kind of investment? I am a BIG Hatsan FAN but I say "not IMO".

I suggest you enjoy what you HAVE and start a fund for another rifle that will be more worthy either out-of-the-box or for costly tuning improvements.
