Hello, loyal readers and bike enthusiasts:

My name is Dani Robertson, and I am Matt's daughter. I've only just now been able to access my father's beloved website, and I come with the news that my father passed away suddenly but peacefully on 02/12/2025. Through Facebook connections or other social media, you may have already discovered this. For those of you that did not, I'm sorry. In words that I know my father would appreciate: this ()&(^)(&() not worthy.

I hope that, very soon, a close friend of my father's and fellow enthusiast Cody will be taking over ownership of this site and keeping it alive. I know that this is a community that Dad would hate so see disappear.

We love you, pappy, and but your wisdom and humor lives on in many places, including here.

I hope I am wrong, (it was an email from Matts daughter),
I just got in from (all day long 9Am to 5pm) a VA/DR appts in Reno,
and I am kind'a rum dumb from all of it, + 4+ hrs if driving, to and from.

As always, sad news indeed but, who is this? Does he have a GTA screen name? Does he have a website?

Who was he on the GTA? I wouldn't know him from the cycling community because I don't own/ride a bike.

I own and ride bicycles - but it is sort of like the difference between springer airguns and PCPs - I don't do electric bicycles - and that seems to be what Matt was into.  No help here.

Searching the members list for Matt Robertson produced nothing; maybe Robertson is Dani's married name.  Searching for Matt produced 3 pages of usernames that include Matt or matt.  Unless someone has some insight, it seems that we have no idea who this is.

I have already added several of Matt's idea's to all my bikes, and they work perfectly.
Just good old fashion common and a understanding of what was/is needed.

I can tell you, his mini camera set up has made it safer to ride on the local county roads
it's funny just adding a helmet camera, plus a forward/backward facing camera's
and the drivers give the safe room to ride, on the roads around here..
