I have one of the 135 series pistons that is smooth on the outside circumference its entire length.
I have 3 other 135's that are undercut in the middle,
so only the front seal area and rear make contact.
I will have to weigh the difference, I'm sure its heavier.
The 3 mod 125 pistons I have are all under cut in the middle.
I wonder if it was never machined or they experimented to try to gain some power over the years....

I have secured test bed rifles/parts to validate the designs.
I have done 95's before, so not worried there.
It's the 125/135 that is gonna be close.
I believe that I have about 1/8" margin for error. on stroke length....
At least I can still purchase rams from Crosman.
