Rules for Hobbyist Classifieds Gate - Please read before posting

CAVEAT EMPTOR - The GTA accepts no liability for the activities of buying, selling nor trading as may be offered or agreed thereto within the following advertisements.  Any financial, physical or personal agreements made because of the following advertisements shall remain solely between those individuals involved within the agreement and shall not include nor involve the GTA forums nor it's staff or leadership.  All individuals are hereby notified of the exemption of liability for the GTA and all of it's members from the use of the following classifieds and represents no endorsement of individuals, items nor services.

All advertisements for the Hobbyist Classifieds Gate shall be from GTA members who have personally manufactured, bought for resale or otherwise developed an avenue for the sale of multiples of the same airgun-based items/services.  For those with only one item to sell, the regular Member Classifieds Gate should be used.  Vendors may not advertise in the Hobbyist Classifieds Gate but instead should advertise within the Vendor Classifieds Gate as well as within their own personal Vendor Gate.

*** Also, any item or service that is deemed unsafe for GTA membership will be removed immediately and the Hobbyist will be notified of such removal.  Any continuing offering of unsafe items or services may result in revocation of the Hobbyist’s posting privileges and banning at the discretion of the forum administration. ***

1- YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO POST IN THE HOBBYIST CLASSIFIEDS GATE!!!!

2- YOU MUST HAVE BEEN A MEMBER 60 DAYS AND HAVE A MINIMUM OF 50 POSTS TO QUALIFY FOR AD PLACEMENT.

3- THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION GATE.  Any discussion, comments or questions must be via email or P.M. (Any reply to an ad causes it to be bumped to the top of the page which gives it an unfair advantage over other ads.  This activity is strongly prohibited!  No “post bumping” will be allowed.)

4- ALL ADVERTISEMENTS SHALL BE FOR ITEMS OR SERVICES THAT PERTAIN DIRECTLY TO THE HOBBY OF AIRGUNNING AND ARE PROVIDED BY A HOBBYIST THAT CREATES OR PROVIDES THOSE ITEMS OR SERVICES.  (If you have a question, please P.M. a moderator or administrator.  Any non-airgun advertisement will be deleted by the administration.)

5- VENDORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE THIS GATE.  PLEASE USE THE VENDOR CLASSIFIEDS GATE AND THE PERSONAL VENDOR GATES AS PROVIDED BY THE GTA.

6- YOU MUST POST A PRICE AND AN ACTUAL PICTURE / PICTURES OF WHAT YOU ARE SELLING.
After having added a minimum of one picture of the actual item, you are welcome to add a link to an external account with additional pictures of the item. NO OTHER OUTSIDE LINKS ONLY WILL BE PERMITTED!

7- ALL ADS WILL REMAIN ACTIVE FOR 14 DAYS. Any ad over 14 days old will be moved to the Archive Sub-gate. After 7 days, the ad CAN be re-listed for an additional 14 days. This gives everyone a chance to get their items back to the top of the listing.

8- If your ad needs editing, or if the item sells, please report your ad to moderators. In the report please include the reason for editing or removing.  After a sale, the ad will be moved to the Archive Gate.This allows others to see what items have sold for in the past.

9- If your advertisement has been removed and you don’t know why, please P.M. a moderator or administrator.

The GTA wants to create a place where garage and home-based hobbyists can develop, manufacture and provide multiple items and services that are unique to airgunning.  Please, help us keep this gate successful and a positive experience for all our members.  Thank you!
