Sometime around 1982 a "Blue Hair" crossed the centerline on a curve and caused me to lay-down.Cracked my helmet against the curb and still have "road rash" scars on my right knee and elbow ... every since then I have worn full gear when I ride. That was the ATGATT coment ."All The Gear, All The Time"From my full face helmet to my riding shoes, I am covered in leather when I go for a jaunt.

Thinking to myself, if they go down, talk about road rash....bare skin sliding down that hot tar would be like holding a part of your body up to a belt sander. and on a gravel road ....
