that was never the intent or a thought untill you mention it.
it is a heavey baskit weave type pattern. just what i thought would cover the carved letters from the past.

just got some oil on it today.

i re-shaped the stock and forearm a bit to give what i feel is a little sleaker look. if i had not done the carving i wuld have left it factory but i figured sine i was caring it it would not matter.
all rebiult shoots good. as soon as the weather gets a bit nicer i will sight it in as i just got it in the ball park for now.

when i got it i thought i would give it a re-biuld then flip it as i am more into Benjamin and sharidans but i have so many hrs in it it would just be a loss. LOL

Destry, nice work! Those are built kind of like a Benjamin.  I have a 106 that needs a refurb, I like how they're built. If it shoots as good as it looks, it will be well worth the time and effort. Kool project.

yes very simular to the Benjamin.
i lapped the valve seats inlet and exhaust new seals new springs pump cup trigger and triger spring.
 
i have not sited it in other then a rough shot or to but it at this poin seems to shoot good.
not sure it will replace my Benjamin but it is a very cool gun.

I ended up selling to fund another Benjamin acutally got a couple that need a little work : )
