I have several .50s & a couple 40mm mortar boxes for firearms ammunition.

I remember getting these at the Army surplus place for about $10 each, so these, being new, is a good deal.  The metal ones, not the plastic ones.  I find it a bit...annoying...that these are made in China.  They seem to be functional, but just the principle, I guess.

For any younger members unaware, these metal cans, with a flip top lid, rubber seal, and metal latch are, well, almost bulletproof.  And very water resistant, maybe even waterproof.  One can hold 50-100 pounds of stuff easily, and not deform or crack at all.  I have some full of pocket change that I can barely pick up.

The plastic ones have their uses, too, but are *far* less robust.
