Hy-score 819 (Diana model 10)

I bought Hy-score 819 (Diana model 10) at an estate auction. Auctioneers' picture showed no accessories, paperwork or box. Auction fever spiked and I felt buyer's remorse thinking I overpaid.

I was surprised when the airgun arrived it had an ugly brown vinyl case with 70's orange foam. The Vintage Airgun Gallery confirmed it is a factory cased set Hy-score 819 (Diana Model 10). The original receipt, manual, tools, pellets and even the 2 case keys too. Seems to shoot fine

Mine has the eccentric sleeve b/c the serial # is 32xx. Can someone explain the purpose of the eccentric sleeve to me please?

I suspect you mean the rear sleeve, which I recall being touted as a means of customizing the fit against the web of your hand...may be mentioned in your manual?

Congrats on a great pistol and great score! I have the exact Hy-Score 819 twin to that pistol.  Mine is a 36xx dated 1975 and came with the same accessories and even came with an extra wide notch rear sight blade. I didn’t get the case keys however. Could you post a pic of yours? Curious what they look like. The seals in mine were goo, so I resealed it and it’s shooting strong at or above spec. I have several 6M’s also that I have resealed. Have you shot yours? How does it shoot? These GISS guns are amazing shooters. You are going to love that pistol!

The keys look like luggage keys from the 1970s stamped out of 1/16 inch shiney metal with two prongs to opening luggage. 

Don R - you 're right I found an explanation for eccentric extension in the manual.
