Mac1?

Has anyone heard anything about Tim at Mac1?  Is he doing alright (I hope so)?  I think I read something he was sick?  His website is down too.  I'm having a hard time finding anything online.  Does anyone have any info?

Negative Tom, I made a similar post the other day. Called no answer, no voice mailbox memory left. I was told he was injured a year or so back and is working through his back log. I am going to attempt to call again next week, maybe I'll get the chance to speak with him.

Thanks- Yeah, I've been trying to find updates on him, but I can't even find the ONE somewhat recent reference to him being sick/injured.

It’s a shame that Tim has gone dark. It’s a shame that he’s gone dark with people’s money, airguns, etc. It’s also a shame that his reputation is going down the toilet.
He is a hellava airgunsmith, but if he doesn’t make things right & either refund people’s money or give them their goods, that’s all he’ll be remembered for.

As a person who has had 5 cancers, chemo and surgery,  I can tell you that I've been down more than two years. I've had two dear friends that went into coma from car accidents and never recovered.
You know what kind of person he is. He will get to it if and when he can.
Sometimes I just don't have much fight left in me. Perhaps Mac is trying to catch up without the delays caused by said communication.  Remember that you know exactly what your situation is, but he must look up your information, and look into the status of your order.
I would never think that he is trying to stiff you for a few bucks.

I agree with this whole-heartedly.  But people only remember the bad for some reason.  I put up this post because I genuinely wanted to know how he's doing.  Or rather, to see if anyone else has heard how he's doing.  I've got no skin in the game, so to speak.  He's got nothing of mine.  He's a tuner I've known about since I was a kid.  Through TWO hobbies (paintball and airguns).  He's ALWAYS been around.  Now he's not?  I'm worried about him, that's all.

  Over the years I bought a lot of stuff from Tim. I really love my Billet steel 392 pump lever and steel end plug on my Benjamin 392 project. It makes it feel so much more solid and easier to pump without worrying about bending the lever and the plug is Sheridan style.  I was hoping he would make those for the Crosman 362.  I would like to build a flat top pump/valve and billet lever/end plug on a 362 pump tube but the stock end plug on a 362 is not the same style as a 392. Hope he is getting well and caught up soon.
