FX Royale dust caps!!!

I know there were a few people who were ecstatic with their FX air guns but were quite disappointed in the fact that they didn't have a dust cap for the fill port. Well I came up with a fix somewhat. I had a couple of caps which came off of my Mrods bolt. Mrod owners will be aware of this item. I decided I would see if it would fit on the Royale and voila', it worked. I had also tried a plastic cap from the valve on a bicycle tire but it was too small. If you have these lying around, they may be of some use to you.

I was surprised that FX didn't have a cover of some type for this in the first place. Great fixes.

That's a great idea.  This is what I have used.

Jim at Precision Airguns has some real nice metal caps with ball bearings under a rubber band inside to hold them in place.

Jonnnyboy, your dust cover is ok, but the book it's sitting on is awesome. I have them all and have read them several times.

Yep...I also wonder why FX (Such a great airgun company) PCPs don`t come with fill hole covers.  My Cyclone have a hole on each side of the air tube where the fill probe goes in....lots of chances for dust and dirt to get in there.  I believe Gene or Jeff/longislandhunter suggested to me to just use tape to block the holes.
