Need a 2240 Measurement Please---

Hi All

I'm in need of a measurement off a factory stock 2240. I need to know the distance from the end of the co2 screw on cap back to the center of the exhaust port hole in the pressure tube. Can someone help me?

With a CO cartridge installed I measured 5-5/8 inches.

. I measured the outside, like in the pic.

I measured 13.35 mms to the front of the tube. The measurement to the tip of the screw cap varies depending on how tight you have it.

Definitely something to consider if needing a precise measurement.

BTW, so any newbies of the 22xx guns are not mislead, the gas tube of these guns is not pressurized.

Well in that case I need the measurement with the cap screwed on all the way with "NO" co2 cartridge installed in the gun.

Funny I never got a measurement with NO co2 installed and the cap screwed all the way in to the pressure tube. Can someone help me with that now?

I measured with a dial caliper and got 5 5/8'' rather exactly. HTH.
