Refinishing my 853 stock.

Here's mine refinished, I'm not a fan of glossy.

Unfortunately I did not do the work so I do not have a lot of details.  I know all the finish was removed with stripper and it was lightly sanded.  There was then stain applied and 3 coats of clear.  I do not know the type of stain or the type of clear other than it was satin.  A Bisley recoil pad was also fitted to it with walnut spacer.  Everyone has their own taste.  I think Ron's turned out very nice.
