Small reactive targets for indoor bb plinking

Besides plastic soldiers what small things do you shoot at that are mostly ricochet free and safe for indoor BB gun plinking?
Even better if they're reusable at least a few times.

I like the pencil topper erasers which are cheap and reusable.
I've found that BB's tend to ricochet a bit off the plastic dinosaurs I've bought,  but there's probably some out there that work a little better.

Currently I'm thinking I may order some of the .50 caliber foam ball ammo ( I think there's a recently introduced Nerf blaster line that uses them) to shoot at, they should be fairly nice safe reactive targets.
I don't shop on Scamazon where I expect you'd find the best price, but they might be available cheap enough on ebay.

I remember when I was a kid seeing these little round erasers about the size of a nickel which looked like basket balls and baseballs...etc, if I can find a pack of those I think they'd also make good little indoor safe reactive targets.
I may have to check the party favor isle at the dollar store here soon to see if I can find some of those

I'm just trying to come up with things I can shoot at with my 499 when it arrives,because I'll definitely be plinking with it since paper punching is not very fun for me.

I would think a guy could find lots of stuff at a hobby/craft joint like Hobby Lobby. A stick of 1x1 from the local Lowes or Home depot could be chopped into 1" blocks would be another option. A stick of PVC pipe chopped up would work. Lots of stuff.

I've used pencil erasers as indoor targets. I would place them in front of my steel trap. I got the erasers from the dollar store. Something like 15 for a buck($1.25 now).

I think BB's might ricochet off a bit, or at least leave little bits of the broken beads everywhere.
That's something to think about though.

Maybe not if you put them in a box on it's side to trap the pieces parts.

I've got plans for a new BB safe gallery box, so that is a possibility.

Rubber finger puppets? They even make some that are miniature hands in different gestures. Put them on thin wood dowels mounted vertically on a plank. OR make a tiny hole on the closed end, knot a cord to hang it—less likely to damage anything.

Why not use the smallest Dixie cups?  They should really jump when hit, there would be no concern about ricochet, they should last for several BB hits, they can just be discarded when you are done and cost wouldn't be an issue at all.

Yeah something like those, but I'm gonna want to look for the smallest ones I can find.
Even plastic bottle caps will be a bit bigger than I'm looking to shoot at because I want to maximize the difficulty/ challenge of plinking within the range of this 499.
I'll see what I can find without having to order from any sketchy Chinese websites like that or really ordering direct from China at all.
Probably party city or something.

For outdoor use they'd be fine at 14-25yds, but they'll be way too big of a target for indoor plinking at 10yds and under.

Right now I'm thinking the best targets are going to be pencil top erasers or 50cal foam balls, hanging on a string.
I used to have a jar full of little gumball machine martians around somewhere, if I can find those they'll be great to shoot at.

Another thought I had was to get a sheet of 1/4" thick craft foam and punch out some penny sized disks.
I think I just may do that actually.
