Airguns are technically complicated products that require maintenance.  So what do you do when your airgun starts to leak or the regulator wears out?  Most of the time, you’ll need to send it to the manufacturer or a specialty repair company.  But that’s not the case with the Air Venturi Avenger (and the Avenge-X) line of airguns because they sell complete rebuild kits for their products!  In this video, we’ll do a basic teardown and repair of the plenum and main air cylinder.  If you have an Avenger and it needs repair, then this video should help get you started!

Welcome.
I should probably pre order one in case they become unavailable. My .25 Avenger is one of the last of my guns that I would part with. This gun checks every box for me and it loves my cast pellets. Mine has worked flawlessly since I bought it a couple years ago. I'm sure your friend will be happy to own it.
You might want to let him know that it's ok to increase the reg pressure setting without degassing the gun but he MUST degas to decrease it.
