It's probably a good deal on a 4X scope but it does not appear to have an adjustable objective.  I suspect it would  not hold up on a springer with the double recoil either.

I think same goes for the first two I looked at after it for a few bucks more that claimed to be airgun scopes. Likely to have 25-50% fallout for defects, and die fairly quickly if mounted on a springer.

I picked up a $20 Sbvony that had a sun shade same size as my Simmons and considered that alone was break even...

It's a scope for $20, AND a $20 scope. Maybe even a $10 scope priced at $20. Don't know, but glad you pointed that out
