So I had just finished getting my shiny new scope zeroed and was getting in some practice to get used to the (even shinier) new trigger...I'd had enough for the afternoon, and put away my benchrest-a lawn chair with a folded towel! Was screwing the lid on my tin of plinking ammo when I noticed two chippers and a brave fox squirrel cavorting in the yard. Well, we can't have such nonsense! The nutter saw me cocking my Viper and made his escape, but the chippers never seemed to notice me, which is odd, since they're usually so alert, and SO DARN FAST! So this little fella sits up at the base of a big cottonwood tree and goes to work on an acorn...and catches a gamo red fire to the vitals. Nailed him at about 14 yards, scope set on 12 power. Never went for munks before, but I had to field test my new gear! I'd say the scope is well zeroed and I'm used to that trigger, now!

Got out over by the chicken coop today and was hitting dimes at 30 yards with the varmint hunter . so i put some seed out on the wood piles and waited a while after 2 hours i got 2 shots both clean misses .It's been a long time and chippers are quick i need some work .but this post got me back out there and there's plenty of vermin around
