Excited to finally join a FT club

Where I live you can’t shoot anything in your back or front yard so I decided to join CASA  which is my local field target club at the Angeles Shooting Range. What’s nice is I can shoot there (with a range fee of course) even when no one is at the Airgun range as long as the main range is open. I can shoot in peace without worry. I love that I’ll finally have a place to zero my airgun scopes and just practice. I’m in that area quite a bit for work so it’ll work out perfectly. Looking forward to my first meet next week.

Growing up in the San Fernando Valley, the Angeles Shooting Range was my place to be.
I logged hundreds of miles on my bicycle and with my .22 Marlin 39A strapped to the handlebars.
At San Fernando High we even had a small bore rifle team that shot up there.

Mike, now that you are bitten by the FT bug, travel a little further up to Morro Bay and shoot with the boys up there.
Hamburgers and cold beer that will make the drive worthwhile.

Oh, and the range is great too.
Overnight camping with shower facilities..

Sounds like a great time:) I’ll see how much I get obsessed. If I get hooked like greasing ground squirrels were in trouble
