 Dave , and thank you for the kind words. I finally connected on the third attempt yesterday. I was walking back to the vehicle when I spotted this old girl. I had
 my chair pack snugged up on my back with my Trigger stick tripod in the case slung diagonally across my chest, I had the gun slung forward on my shoulder on
 the left side as I was using an old discarded push broom handle as my walking staff. Needless to say I was wrapped up like a birthday present, so I used my staff
 as a shooting support . I couldn't range it as my binos were under my tripod case strap  . So I estimated the holdover & the windage and brushed the #1/8oz.
 trigger and heard the slap of the pellet. The tail came up & that was that!

Why am I spending good money for manufactured bipods/tripods when a broom is apparently all one needs for those long shots?

😂...Dinh, you're too funny! Made me think as I recently purchased a Leofoto MH-35 Ballhead and carbon fiber tripod to mount it on....😂

 Dinh, Ha,yes for years I used two different cross sticks for field shooting/hunting, A tall set for standing & a medium for sitting on a stool or kneeling. AND the tall
 ones were ,, broom handles! Dowel rods were used for the shorter set. Since then I've tried several fixed & collapsible bipods & tripods (under $200) & have
 settled on the Trigger Sticks as they work for most applications & don't strain the wallet.
