A should I buy it? Crosman 1400

I'm thinkin' about it cuz it's nearby and in excellent condition.   I've never had a .22 pumper.   Probably don't need it.  They're asking $58.00.   Is this a good reasonable deal?

No, that makes me feel bad, LOL.   The one I was looking at was in way better condition than the Baker 1400 and for $100.00 less.

Don't.  The Gun Mike is selling is actually a Sears Roebuck model 126 19300.  Considered the premier Crosman 1400 variant. It has a dovetail for a scope and some consider that the Sears guns got better barrels.  I'd grab it at that price but I already own one.

  If you mean Mike Baker, I beleive he's in business for himself, out in Arizona.   Baker Airguns is a different outfit.

Everybody who likes airguns should have 3 things:

a good springer
a good CO2 pistol or carbine
a good .22 pumper

The first and last especially can feed a family.

If you run across another .22 pumper for a good price, don't hesitate  tpo add it to your collection.

Sometimes I feel kinda bad that I sold my Sheridan pumper.   I had it since about the early 70s.   I fired it a few times and put it away for 45 or 50 years.   It still had the factory sticker on it and it also had the factory peep sight, not the aftermarket one.   When I retired and dug it out it was basically new.   I didn't think I would get so interested in AGs so I sold it.
