So Mike what trigger does your Browning Gold have. Also I do notice the front mounting screws are further back than most. Is there a SAS sysem in there?....  Thanks

Yep Gene's got it ....except on this one its for the underlever cocking rod not to slam shut on your fingers against the barrel since its a fixed/bolt barrel. Very easy to get used to as well I like where they put it in reference to my Browning Gold .22 that has it at the end of the forestock.....now that one drives me crazy!!!!!

Sad to say it was pictured with the Quad trigger and SAS system ...mine showed up without either. I called Sportsmans and rather then send it back because it is a decent shooter they worked it out with me by dropping off another 50.00 from the price. So all in all I got the gun for about 2 bills since they already price matched it to an add that PA had it for of 259.00 when it came out and I ordered.

The Winchester 1100 that I bought came from a friend that purchased it from PA. PA did not advertise theirs with a quattro trigger or sas system.

i really like the looks of the 1100. i'd love to get my hands on one, but i would want it in 22 cal, which isn't offered

The Hatsan rifles that are coming in 2012 will have .22 caliber underlevers. I am salivating to get one. I've got my eyes on a Torpedo 150h in woodgrain. They have the same action as the 1100.......underlever with the bear trap near the trigger. The same gold accents. The 150th comes with SAS and the Quattro triggger. The 1100 is a dream to shoot and it is an excellent hunting .177. The reason that I want the 150th is that they claim it will shoot 1000 fps. Rick Eutsler did a video of the Walther Falcon Hunter in .22 with the Air Venturi Nitro Piston and it was shooting 995 fps with RWS Hobbys. It was shooting 890's with 14.3-14.6 grain pellets and it was shooting them accurately. The Falcon Hunter is made in the same plant that they make the 1100 and all the Hatsans (that's what I've been told). I can't wait to get my hands on a underlever .22 because I just abosolutely love my 1100 (Nickname:Hammer)
