I just finished rebuilding/resealing two of the 717 target pistols. I had picked them up several months ago to rebuild for my son and grandson, and hurt my hand so I had to let it heal. I had gotten some kits with polyurethane O-rings, and teflon split washers to use in place of the foam wiper. I had used this kit in the past and it works well and no foam to break down. I had gotten one of the guns on ebay and it did not come in as shown, the one shown looked to be in perfect condition, and the one I got had a broken rear sight, so back it went and I chose another. The do not seem to have as much power, basing that on sound, as my 747 and 777, but still make a soda can jump rather lively.
With two of them they can have some fun shooting matches against each other.

They should all shoot the same FPS. as they have the same power plants. I have rebuilt many of the and they all shot at about the same FPS. Triggers and barrels are different but the pistons and resesivors are the same. Only the 722 which is a 22cal. shoots a little slower because it's also the same gun but is shooting heavier pellets. Also as a side note the Daisy factory has the best price on parts but are running out of parts inventory on some models including the 7xx pistols and the 853 rifles. I stocked up several years ago after Gamo bought them.
