First Impressions of the Vevor hand pump

I purchased the Vevor hand pump after reading discussions here and AGN and the videos suggested. It finally got here yesterday.
Tore into the box wanting to get the first fill into my Benjamin Marauder and read the instructions and laid out all the parts.
I am unimpressed with the vague language (English is not their first forte). Had a difficult time getting the plug to engage to test.
I had some teflon plumbers tape for connections. After 25 test pumps it was obvious it leaked. Conducted a water test and identified the offending suspects. Taped all those connections and conducted another water test and this time was GTG.
Time to fill the Marauder. Pumped 75 times and hit the relief valve as suggested by the Benjamin Service Rep to help the cool down phase, this took her up to close to 1000 Psi (IIRC). Took a break and got some coffee and pumped 75 more times and noted increasing resistance (Hey, this is my first PCP!)
Hit the relief valve and yep the pump is getting a little warm and enjoyed some coffee (black like my rifle). Now its getting to be a work out with the next batch of pumps. Called it a day after hitting 2800 Psi and will check it tonight.
The Vevor page on Ebay and Amazon are intelligible but lacking in certain details, the instructions provided with the pump are an abortion with the pictures saying more. Time will tell if I made a wise decision but my First impression is not a totally favorable wanting Out of the Box and ready to go performance.

Finding and fixing leaks part of the Dark Side that, no one enjoys, but when assembling HPA systems is a necessity.

Have three China pumps and they all work great. Once you fill the gun from empty topping it off is nothing. Especially a marauder. I regularly fill my 255 cc fx tube from 2100 to 3300. Not bad at all to do. Just keep a regular maintenance schedule. I remove the pump body from the foot base. Then remove the check valve from the bottom of the pump body. Clean that out and put a dab of silicone grease on that oring. That little oring is the one oring in my pumps I’ve had to replace. I then turn the pump upside down and put one drop of silicone oil into the final compression chamber. I then unscrew the top of the pump itself by hitting the handle. I put one small drop of silicone up there too. Then work the pump back and forth 30-40 times to blow out excess oil. I do this every couple weeks and they have worked like champs.
