Benjamin 392(S), how weather resistant?

I am curious as to how resitant the 39XS guns are to rain/water/moisture? Any maintenance steps aside from wipe down and oiling after playing in wet conditions or special concerns with the brass? Also as a side question, how many pumps for serious work (pesting/hunting) at 20 yards to limit pass throughs? I was thinking 4 to 6, mostly depending on pellet used, distance and size of critter (chipper, red squirrel, or larger). 6-8 pumps aren't probably needed for most situations, but figured I'd ask.

I've spent a little time cleaning the paint from the muzzle, softening/lowering the comb height (no sawzall this time, lol) and sighting in a 392S. So far, with 4-6 pumps and a veriety of pellets this gun is (luckily) shooting essentially to the same POI. Surprisingly that's with wadcutters, hollow points and Domes. I'm thinking this will be a great pester, especially when my Cayden is too much gun in certain situations. Also I'm thinking it would be a good carry gun if it's raining with less concerns than other guns, given the brass construction but not 100% sure.

Here's the 392S, I only softened the comb hight enough to get my big head down enough to just use the factory opens...

Although I don't own a Benjamin 392-S .....I am thinking that they should fair pretty well with adverse weather situations.
The only thing that comes to my mind that might cause problems, is the slight chance of water getting into the pumping chamber.
I have a Umarex Multi pump rifle that I have had out in the rain and I have never had that problem so I doubt it would be of much concern.

Zack - I've only shot squirrel while hunting so I don't have info on pesting and pass-thru. However, here is data I have from testing in the garage a couple weeks ago showing number of pumps and energy/velocity data as recorded on the chrono. It might help...?
