Benjamin Marauder pistol

Hi everybody, hope y’all are well and good.
So I finally “pulled the trigger” and bought a marauder pistol and a hand pump.  I paired it with a bug buster scope and will give it a try this weekend.  The only problem is that the valve on the pistol seems to have no hole at all!  Defect?  Maybe I need to replace it with the one that came with my pump? Please help.

Post a picture of the fill "hose" on your hand pump. My guess would be that it has a generic fill probe installed and the Marauder pistol uses a foster quick connect.

 The pump should have a fitting like the one I pictured, they also are available with female threads where the one pictured has male.

The pump and pistol have matching quick connect fittings, I can easily attach the pump to it but the problem is that the male fitting on the gun has no hole.

There shouldn't be an open hole, there should be a one way valve in the male foster fitting on the pistol.  When attached to the pump, are you able to pump any air into the air cylinder of the pistol?  If not, the valve mich be stuck closed.  I'm assuming that since you mentioned you just purchased the pistol and a hand pump that youu have no other air source.  Crosman has excellent customer service, if you call them, they sould take care of you.

Yep, that is exactly it.  I can connect the pump to the gun and pump but the air doesn’t transfer to it.  I’ll give them a call.
