I have found that clear shipping tape makes a great shim on loose mags.  You could try a bit on the loose ones to see if that is enough to make things the same - hopefully it won't be too much.

yes, I designed it from the ground up and 3d print as well. Just putting finishing touches on FX impact .25 cal mags as well.
