Sheridan E - Not a Crosman 150

Years back I bought a Sheridan E series. It didn't work and went in the safe. A year or so ago I rebuilt it (youtube is great)
Recently with all the talk of 150's I looked at the price and said wow. Thought about chopping a 2240, but I would rather chop a 2300t for the good trigger and then update to .22
This morning I thought I would grab the "E" and go for a wander in the woods. I plinked a soupcan on a string, then the tree can, then the IDPA full size steel at about 35 yards (these things are a blast), then ended up in the shop for a 10m bit of fun. Of course I shot the wrong target so when I ran out of co2 I quit. Maybe later if we don't get a wildfire run I will print a proper target and see if I can turn in a pistol score tonight on the 10m casual match.
Have a great day folks.
Ill add pics after a bit

The E series are great pistols. Due to the brass unitized construction they get overlooked by hotrodders, but I have one in .177 that had the valve and push bolt worked over, gained about 45 fps. I remember when Crosman discontinued them. I new the HB's were next, then the Streaks. With the arrival of the 362 I think the 392/397S's are walking the plank. It's an amazing coincidence the 362's don't have the ridiculously oversized comb the 39X guns do.

Agreed. The Sheridan E series are great little pistols. Found this E .20 cal a few years back for $60. Needed a reseal. Kit cost around $30. <$100 for a great shooter. Loud though.
