RTI is going a step further, I think the chef of this soup is Gregor Kamenšek
That sounds like a properly built bullet shooter. I wonder what barrels and twist rates they'll be using? A 100 fpe .22 is rather simple thing to do, there are many such guns on this forum including mine. The problem at these power levels is to find right barrel to ammo combo, as an example a .22 at 100 fpe means 40 grainers shooting at 1060 fps which is a bit high and would need 16" twist. 44 grainers (225438) would do nicely at 1010 fps but may require 14-15" twist to work. 47 grain ammo (225420) would work at 980 fps and 12.6" twist and that 12.6" twist would just about support 55 grain bullets (Lee 225-55-RF) at 905 fps. Now if we talk about .25 at 150 fpe things get even worse, we have 18" twist airgun barrels and 10" twist .25 ACP barrels and a rather limited choice of bullets. A .257 on the other hand would be a great choice for 150 fpe gun with 14" twist barrels and matching 72-86 grain bullets available.

H&N as a large manufacturer has already started working heavy slugs and JSB has also announced the production of heavy slugs, let’s not forget the NSA. Altaros can easily produce any form of Turned Lead Slugs, there are a number of smaller manufacturers on the market and presses and molds for home production of slugs are coming, so this game continues
Ed,Thanks for that rundown. I ordered a performance in 22 a couple days ago. What you describe is exactly the reason I went with RTI instead of fx. I’m excited to get to find out for myself how it performs. Dave
