I have an HW98/R11. It shoots fantastically well. I know it is basically an HW95/R9 in a different stock, sans sights and with a “different?

” Shrouded barrel.

Is there anything radically different about the HW98 vs a 95? Is it the same barrel? Just shrouded? Is it assembled differently/to different specs?

Just curious really.

Only difference is that shrouded/sleeved barrel and fully adjustable stock you've already mentioned.

I should add that on the newest version of the 98, the end of the barrel unscrews and is threaded 1/2-20 UNF for an aftermarket moderator should you want to. The older ones, the barrel is just sleeved.
