Dirtiest pellets I ever had, so far

I was shooting this tin and starting to notice flakes on my fingers  so I looked in the tin  and lo and behold  what a pile of trash.

The picture don't do it justice on how thick/ tall / amount .    I can't remember ever getting a tin this dirty.

That was common when I tried the .177 Crosman Premier hollow points from the 500 count tins. Here are my "loadin' fingers" after a shootin' session..........


A while back I bought a few tins of .177 cal Benjamin Hollow Points from the 750 count tin and I believe that they're rebadged CPHPs with a similar result...........


I do admit that your pic looks like the pellets were "floor sweepings"!

Ya, the last few bricks of cphp .22 been clean.

This i my first brick of .177  I bought in a long, long time for this new R9 I just got ( and all ready failed and looking to rma in less then 30 days and under 2000 shots really 1250 shots)

Ya,  I could not believe that tin I posted.

I shoot cphp near exclusively  and that was just over the top..


Occasionally I get one more like nced's bottom picture ,but overall there clean .  It don't cause me to not buy more and they shoot well for me.

Once had a tin of CPHP .22's that was over filled. There was a mix of HP's and Domes, probably closer to 650-700 in the tin. It was filled to the brim with out crushing the lot, but a few bent, maybe 20.

We chalked it up to "must have been Friday", but didn't care as I got a bunch of free domed pellets
