In all honesty, - how "comfortable" would you be flying in a large plane with NO co-pilot??? - Not to be confused with a small privately owned Piper Cub, ...

Actually, with todays electronics, I'd feel comfortable letting them fly and land the plane and just having a co-pilot. Heck, they're the ones who take over when the pilot is too trashed to fly the plane anyhow!

Yea, you have to pay to get good publicity for a product or service, bad publicity is pretty much free in todays I-World. Anything goes as long as the name gets out. If someone claimed they were had developed an AG that would do 2,000 fps accurately, but the first one sold blew-up in the shooters face, there would still be people lining up to buy one! BAAAHHH!

Heh... they could have 5 co-pilots and I still wouldn't feel comfortable flying. All the pilots in the world can't compete with metal fatigue.

I'm with you timegoat, - only flew once back in the 60's, and never again. - On the other hand my younger brother was in B-52's (8th Air Force, 99th Bombardment Wing - Heavy) and flew three tours of combat over Nam, each tour being six months. Never had a problem flying, ... I'll pass with four "assistant" pilots, ...

As RedFeather said a "publicity stunt", the co-pilot handel's ALL the multi. function's of a craft for the pilot during a emergence(there is no way for one person to do it all)an is a certified pilot also for the same reason. I have flown enough to circle the world several(dozen) time's over an find it very safe, an heck I was doing the work on the craft's I was in LOL.
