A belated hello and question
«
on:
October 05, 2011, 12:10:21 AM »
Hi, from the great state of New Jersey. Ok, maybe not all that great from the air gun (or any gun for that matter) perspective, but it's where I happen to reside.
I found this site while trying to find some information about a Crosman 3100 I bought back in the 80's. The tunung I learned about and applied to that 3100 has made a world of a difference.
Now the question: Is that air gun at the top of the GTA page a real air gun, and if so what is it?

Welcome to the GTA. I'm not sure what kind of gun that is at the top. Above my pay grade I'm sure.

Hey Jon, welcome to the GTA. Its a great place to talk about and learn about airguns. As far as the logo up top, I went back and looked through the posts. The closest answer I could find was that it might be a custom 12ftlb field trial airgun that was maybe based on a Steyr or Anschutz. The air fill cap looks like what is on an Air Arms pcp to me. The pellet is a predator, I'm pretty sure.
Anyway, welcome to the forum, make yourself at home.

I have to agree, it looks like Brian got it right. Just a bit out of my price range. Thanks for the help.

Gotta love a state where you have to hide in your basement or go to an actual range to use an air gun. But then again the legislature considers a sling shot a firearm.

Coyote, when is Chris Christie gonna clean up the anti-gun mess in N.J.? He seems to be a no-BS kinda guy?
