I would chose the HW100 and here are a few reasons . First is that they are easily tuned via the hammer spring adjuster and the regulator pressure. The parts to rebuild are very easy to get up here in Canada through a few dealers. They are built like tanks , the cylinders are removable when charged so you can keep a spare and swap them out. The triggers on these HW rifles are as good as you can get from a factory rifle with both first and second stage adjustment as well as the pull weight. Last but not least is the best magazine system seen on an air rifle, and when a loaded mag is in the gun it doesn’t stick out past the top of the action. Great if you want low scope mounts. Yes, the more I look into the Dreamline the more I am leaning that way. I can easily change calibre so can have in .22 and .30 cal.

Hey all, just wanted to say thanks to everyone who piped in with their experiences and opinions. Much appreciated. Funny thing is though the title was for the HW100 and S510 I actually ended up going with a FX Dreamline with power plenum and 600mm barrel in .25 cal. Though I really, really liked the S510 the versatility of the Dreamline won me over. I also ordered it with a .22 cal barrel and probe kit. Again thanks for all the help. I will be picking it up tomorrow and will post more later in the week in a separate post.
