I measured as best I could, and fortunately due to the sizes available it sure does look like .060”. .040” appears to small and .078” too large.

Thanks, everyone. I think I'll try the 'get ahold of Umarex route' first. Gonna make sure I measure it before I stick in the gun, and then lose it in the backyard again.
Upon installation of the new fiber optic, heat the end of the fiber.This will form a bead and the fiber will not slip out of the sight.

Anyone considered trying something as simple as Superglue to hold those things in?? Gun wasn't a German and I rarely use open sights but still wanted the little orange rod in there so I Superglued the little bugger and it's still there.
