FWB Sport rear sight windage question?

Direct quote from owners manual, For a hit right of aim, turn the screw on the side in the direction of the arrow (clockwise)". My rifle is opposite to these instructions (counterclockwise). Please check yours and see if we concur.
I wish they would have said "to move the POI left turn counterclockwise or clockwise instead of (for a hit right of aim). Nebulous wording???

Just for fun I also got a scope that's opposite of my other scopes as well

On mine, clockwise on the windage knob moves the blade/POI to the left, counter-clockwise to the right.

On the elevation, clockwise (tighten) moves the elevation POI down, counter-clockwise (loosen) moves the POI up.

An easy way to remember this is to think adjustments on a typical scope.

Yea, my German Schmidt and Bender 12-50 scope is opposite to ALL others.

Ya all but the r9  right to ghtens the screw and pulls the blade right just like a nut an bolt does.

The r 9. You turn it right/ clockwise and it pushed the blade left..

So shooting both and fine tuning any poi change it's easy to go wrong way if not thinking on what gun your holding..

In the US we move the point of aim

In Germany...they move the target...or at least that is my theory

All my FWB are backwards and at least a few of my european optics

Most US, British, and German sights actually work the same: a clockwise turn of a right-mounted windage knob moves POI left; the same on a top-mounted elevation knob moves POI down.

Landpimp is correct: the thing that's different is how they are marked. On US and UK sights the markings indicate the direction you need the POI to move. German sights indicate the error you need to fix (seems VERY German somehow, no?  ). In other words - opposite-pointing arrows for the same thing.

All that being said...I don't own a 124 so can't answer your question directly! But it sounds like the instructions are correct if you think of it as FIXING a "hit to the right," not MOVING your "hit to the right."

To illustrate the point, here are US (top) and German versions of the Diana "Diopter 75" match sight. They operate identically.
