Female QD Foster O ring change intervals?

I’ve shot pcps for a little over a year and I’m still learning maintenance intervals for equipment. One thing I have done several times already is replace female qd foster fittings because of either bad fit or leak. I got to thinking could it just be they’ve needed the 010 o ring replaced instead of completely changing the whole thing all along? I ordered 100 o rings of the 010 today Buna 70  to test the theory. What is you guys’s experience with female qd fittings ? Are you changing o rings once in a while or do you replace the whole qd ? Do you apply silicone grease ? Thanks

 I keep the fittings lubed with silicone oil most every use or session, never have had to change an oring in 5 years.

Start doing too they were pretty dry when I inspected them.
