Mine is the chicom knock off but I did some mods on it to make it accurate. I don't believe you need to do any mods on the real zr to be accurate.

I have the cheaper 'chinese' model from amazon on my benjamin nitro piston elite gun with a pinty 3-9x40 from the junk box mounted just to see if it could keep it alive. it needed cleaned, shimming and lubed but so far its held zero through a couple hundred rounds. I got another one that just needed cleaning and lubed and had no slop in the rails. I'm not sure if they're getting better at making them or just got lucky with the tolerances coming together.
