Best Pellet Grouping - How to Hold Your Pistol

I finally found a good way to hold the pistol so as to get the best possible shot-to-shot repeatability. A vise . . . Of sorts.
The pistol vise pictured below is to be used for mounting and zeroing a scope on a pistol. you don't actually lock the pistol in the vise and then fire it, that is what a Ransom Rest was made for. this vise just holds the pistol while adjustments are being made.
However, since my .177 PCP really has no felt recoil, this vise made a good steady holder for my pistol as I shot a variety of pellets in determining which grouped the best.
I clamped the pistol in the vise, then clamped the whole contraption to the bench top. nothing moved - even when reloading. i shot (5) pellets at a target, adjusted the target slightly in one direction, loaded and shot (5) of the next pellets, and so on. I shot a total of (20) of each type of pellet, shooting (5) at a time in a rotation.
the results were slightly surprising . . . except that i realized that
I
need a
LOT
more practice . . .

i don't understand . . . it took me 40 minutes to get this pic to post . . . now i can't delete the duplicate . . .

Cool device
I had that problem on another forum.
I could NOT delete a dupe pic, without deleting the entire post and starting over again.
