Baikal IZH 60 mod,

 I have read some where , some place , some how , about a gas spring conversion for this gun .
I realize the cocking mechanics would need improvement .
Any suggestions about where to find this info ? If so please include link , as I am computer hopeless.

Installing a gas spring are possible. There is only one remark - on some rifles the levers hook, during the return stroke, falls into the cylinder.

I got a gas ram for the AV version of the 60/61

75ish shipped from russia, took 10 days or so to get to Montana....

Changed the gun from a long harsh twangy energetic shot cycle to a very short harsh enegertic shot cycle. Made shooting it somewhat better, but didnt help accuracy

I've purchased from all three of these guys and they are reliable. As for the diff between the offerings I cannot advise.

I've also read where the increased pressure can cause the link arm to break or fail.
