Is there a good way to scope a Sheridan?

Yes Randy they are low, almost too low, the scope is only 3/4" off the mac1 mount's base, really close to my hand when holding the grip, I bought this "Rifleman Senior x4" JC Higgins [Weaver] scope off Ebay and the rings came attached with it, I don't see any markings on them, but they are probably made by Weaver too?, I think the scope was available in the 1960s.

Love the vintage scopes too.
I have four B4's, but now a A4 is on the wishlist lol. That Leupold looks great too.

Rich, good tip about the NcStar. A shop over here in Holland sells that pistol scope, I'll have a look at it.
It leaves space for the hand to grip the gun in the best way for pumping. That's a big bonus.

I want to add a Leupold pistol

Tim was in a really bad accident and it's damaged his ability to work at his shop.  Not sure when he'll be back up to speed with it.

Well thats aweful news. I have a origional Sheriden mount but worry about its use. Ill continue watching hoping a mac mount pops up.

This is the best way. Leupold 1-4x 28mm compact. Baker style intermount --no barrel seperation. Just a little hard loading a pellet with my fat fingers.

I know it's not a Sheridan but the solution is the same. The mount is the back half of what is now called the Baker mount. The rings are 20 mm cheepo rings I had laying around. The scope is of unknown brand. All it says on it is "4 X 20". Eve relief is just right. Cocking knob, billet pump lever and adjustable piston rod is from Mac 1. This is the last year for the 392 with wood stock. I added the hard Benjamin butt plate to make an L.O.P. of 14.25 inches. While the scope is not the best, it is clear, the set up is rock solid and allows me to grip the rifle in the most efficient place for pumping. Sorry about the poor picture quality.
