Fresh after Christmas venison

Harvested this doe this morning around 8:50 AM
Sam Yang 901 purchased and tuned by Will Piatt around 10 years ago. It is a early model that does not have a gauge . Have taken numerous deer with "Shake and Bake" (guns name) over the years. First with Hornady 145 grain round balls then latter on the NSA  190 and 220 grain hollow points. Super accurate with any ammo I have tried.
 It was 20 degrees this morning when I entered my insulated shed but warmed quickly after I fired up the Big Buddy heater. First deer stepping out was a button buck and then 5 does walked out single file.
4 of those never stopped, just walked the length of the field while 2 remained to browse a bit.
 Fatle mistake for one of them.

I would have been excited too!  I love to see people taking down the larger game with air guns   Did you do a heart/lung shot on her?  I would like to take a deer with one of my air guns.  I have the power to do it with a head shot, but that would be illegal here.  However, it is legal to hunt deer with an air gun here in GA, just has to be .30 or larger.  They are also allowed in primitive weapons season here.  That .30 rule is the only thing that makes me consider building a big bore air gun at some point...

I am set up  at 45/50 yards. I head shoot all my deer,bucks and doe's. I will probably catch flack for this but it works for me. I prefer to drop them in their tracks and load them on the truck.
