25 cal pellet molds

I'm looking at getting molds for my .25 cal guns ,
mrod ,avenger , SPA and gauntlet ,anyone use the one 250 - 27 mold , it s skirt is  .257 is that correct for most guns ? Is there another brand of .25 cal molds that are used with success, I've been casting for .357 with the noe molds and like them ,but the price is hard to swallow.

i have multiple NOE molds. The 250-27 hunter mold drops pellets with a .254" or so skirt base diameter. I run them in my impact, condor and gauntlet.

I just bought one about a month ago but it just doesn't work to good in my sumatra. Wish I would have gone with the hunter mag instead.

I like mp molds 46 grain boat tail Airgun slug mold. 

NOE has some airgun boattails in .25 that are in the 40-60 grain range depending on which you pick.  Stock is low last I checked.

[/quot.    e]    I'm just wanting to cast .25 pellets at this time ,mostly for insurance against future shortages,  I do cast slugs for my .357 cal airguns but use my .25,s for plinking and pest shooting in the backyard so slugs are kinda overkill., my noe. 357 ,s came with hollow point pins does the .257 come with them also, one of the options was ,drilled for pins, if I  choose that option will it come with the pins?

Pellet moulds (Target, Hunter and Hunter Magnum) from NOE are a Diabolo (waisted) pellet design, with a hollow base, and are a nose-pour design.... Therefore, they cannot also have a hollow point.... The skirt is oversize, just as it is with any pellet, the nose diameter is sized to fit .25 cal airgun barrels.... They come with 3 sets of pins to cast different weight pellets (plus a flat base pin, which is a waste of time in all my guns).... The option "drilled for probe" is for a temperature probe....

Ronald the 250-27-RF mold is an excellent mold in my opinion.  I haven't bought any commercial pellets or slugs since I started using the NOE molds over 2 years ago.

Here's a couple of 5 shot groups that I did using my Avenger .25 using them, I ended up using my Avenger for opening day for six squirrels and the Benjamin Cayden on the second day with the NOE 217-24-RF (23g) also getting six squirrels.  Actually both guns were a tie in my opinion for the 50 yard groups.


by the way I don't have a bench out there in the woods I was shooting sitting on a 5 gallon resting the gun in my right hand(I'm a lefty) on a log in an old deer blind.
