Just picked up the 1377B model From WM. Had to ajust the sight, but now it's dead on. Pumping is stiff, hoping that it breaks in some. I'm not crazy about the trigger. It seems you can do alot of mods to these guns. I have an old 760 barrel and almost a whole 760 pumpmaster in parts. What are some of the most common mods to these $50.00 guns? What can I do to lighten up the trigger? Thanks for any info. Jerry

I've seen some different trigger mods for the 1377 but I just kept mine simple and just polished the contact points and use some moly... The 1377 shares the same pump linkage and internal pump parts as the newer 760s. The difference in the valve is that the 1377 has tapped screw holes for the trigger handle assembly to screw into... So you can't throw a 760 valve into a 1377 (without modification) but you can throw a 1377 valve into a 760...
Since they share pump parts, valve piston mods made for the 1377 can be applied to a 760...
One thing that I did was, since I modded my 1377 to have a longer 14" barrel, I flipped and turned down my old 10" rifled 1377 barrel to work in a 760 transfer port (JB Weld) and I cut the and recrowned the NOW front... So my 760 is now a short barrel carbine.... As for the 760 trigger group, I tried polishing the contact points...

On the trigger, easiest thing is to open up the grip frame to get at the trigger spring (be careful doing this, because the safety may fall out and there is a very small ball bearing and spring that will fall out with it that are a pain to find if they hit the floor). Take out the trigger spring and compress it using a couple washers on a screwdriver. Put it back together and that should lighten the trigger pull a bit. OR, just replace the spring with a lighter one.
Polishing the seer and shimming the trigger with small washers also helps a good bit.
A good walk through for taking apart a 1377 is below and he shows some good mods that can be done to improve the gun:
