No "Modify Post" Button?

For some reason, the "Modify Post" Button is no visible to me. Am logged in, have tried logging out/back in - no joy. This started happening late last night when I was searching/reading threads on the AV Avenger and had like ten separate tabs open simultaneously. I also experienced a couple other oddities - when I tried to enable notifications for threads or tried to reply to a thread, I got a error message saying to try logging out and back in. Attempted to log out and was unable to.

And more weirdness - immediately upon posting this thread, the "Modify" button is showing up in my post in this thread. I happen to have one of my tabs from last night still open and the Modify button still isn't showing. Refreshing the page has no effect. I tried closing the tab, opening a new one and navigating to the same thread again and still no Modify button.

The modify button will appear for approximately ten minutes after you make a post to allow you to make changes for typos, rephrasing, or whatever.  After that any changes must be made through a moderator.  It's been that way for quite some time.  Think of it as a feature not a bug.

So, what does a member do if they've posted a Tutorial or How-To thread and needs to modify it to add new info or correct a information error, etc. down the road?

Well, that's going to be just a BIT tedious... — as I have many modifications and updates to my threads — for the multiple lists and tables I write for the forum:
scope specs tables (3x), bullpup photo lists, adjustable scope mount specs table, pellet BCs, slug specs table, silencer specs table, HP performance table, power related to pellet choices, .... ..... 😄😄

That it can be but it prevents people from deleting all thier posts and leaving.
