It WAS a movie.There is no way that rifle could shoot 300 yards held parallel to the ground as seen in the movie.The bullet allegedly weighed 500 grains.It would have bounced two or three times before it reached 300 yards.Gravity is a constant, you know.You did notice there was no recoil??In other scenes he was prone.The recoil very well could have broken his shoulder blade, if there was recoil.I was in High School (Grant High School in Van Nuy, CA) with Tommy boy.
