Any one know much about this scope? Does 1x mean zero magnification? Also, could you yuse it on a 1377/22 or a 2240? Looking for a pistol scope as my eye aren't what they use to be.
Bushnell 1x25 TRS-25 Red Dot
The TRS-25 is a super small red dot that will work well on light powered airguns such as the HW25L, HW30S, R7 and HW50S. We would not recommend it for use on medium or high powered spring airguns.
Features
Multi-coated optics
Amber-Bright™ high contrast lens coating
100% waterproof/fogproof/shockproof construction
Dry-nitrogen filled
CR2032 battery

1x = "Actual size" At that price point, the dot will not be a precise "dot"...but that's pretty common. You could also look for a "long eye relief" pistol scope in a low 3x-4x) magnification, if you are looking for "just a little help" in magnification. Hope this helps some.
Good Luck to You!!!
Edit: I wanted to add that you may wanna think long term on your selection. If you wanna turn it into a shoulder stocked carbine, a long eye relief pistol scope might not be your best bet. For that configuration, you could look at the Leaper's "Bug buster" scopes. They are offered in 4x and 6x (they also offer a 3-9 variable power), and are in well within your price range ($55 - $60 at Pyramid Air) with Lifetime warranty. Very popular; compact and tough scope.

I have been using a BSA Edge 2x20 pistol scope on my 1377. Optics are clear and holds zero real well. Eye relief is 8" to 14". The modest price was attractive to me. This scope would not be very good in a carbine configuration due to the long eye relief. This is not a red dot either.

The trs-25 has weaver mount so you have to adapt to that. I have one on my Alecto, works great, only 3 moa dot, most are 5.

Thanks Guys......I may go the bug buster route as I want it as a pistol only...then I built a carbine. Great info so far. Thanks.

If you use the Bug Buster as a pistol scope, you may need to buy an offset mount, to move the scope rearward and closer to your eye. Check the "eye relief" specifications on the scope you select. If you're gonna to the carbine route, a standard mount will do the job. I really like that pistol for a carbine! They look great!!!
Best of Luck to Ya !
