I'd say YES with one exception that may or may not be their fault.I've purchased MANY air rifles and pellets from them with mostly good results. Everything "new" was fine. The exceptions were some refurbished air rifles. Mostly Hatsan refurbs and one Umarex/Ruger refurb. The rifles I purchased were listed as Factory Refurbished. My opinion (no proof) is that several of the Hatsan refurbs I received were also recent returns to FS by customers who either abused the rifles or attempted (with NO knowledge or skill) to repair or modify them. Some of those rifles were NOT functional right out of the box. I'm skeptical these were truly direct from Hatsan because similar rifles I've purchased direct from Hatsan were in MUCH better (but not always perfect) functional condition. The bad Umarex/Ruger refurb box appeared to be tape sealed direct from the factory repair center, so I'd say FS is NOT responsible for that one. I'd blame really sloppy factory refurb work by Umarex. The customer support I received from Umarex about that rifle has removed ALL my confidence that they have any real repair capability. I'd only recommend Umarex refurbs if you are prepared to tear down the rifle yourself for a complete inspection with possible repairs. FWIW I have several "new" Umarex air rifles and have NO complaints about their performance.I should note that in all these cases I did NOT complain to FS or try to return the rifle. IMO the delivered price was too good to pass up. I ENJOY working on (repairing, tuning, upgrading, & modifying) air rifles. The parts cost of repairing these defective refurbs was small (sometimes $0) and the enjoyment+knowledge+satisfaction I gained was more than enough to cancel any annoyance at receiving a bad-out-of-box (b-o-o-b) experience. EVERY refurbished rifle I've received from them is NOW accurately shooting at factory specifications and I am very happy with the price I paid regardless of any b-o-o-b experience.I still recommend Field Supply as a good seller and will continue to buy both new and refurbished products (when the price is right) from them in the future.
If they are truly refurbished by Hatsan, there should be an "R" stamped right behind the serial number. If not, then your suspicions may be correct! Every refurb I have purchased direct from Hatsan has had the "R" stamped on it.
